Stay alive in the harshest conditions and defeat your enemies in Raiden IV with the help of this trainer Raiden IV: OverKill is a fast-paced shoot ’em up in which you have to defeat hundreds of enemies and avoid their vicious attacks at the same time. The whole thing is presented in a retro package, which means that the veterans of the genre should feel right at home from the first minute of gameplay. The difficulty level will be up there as well, so there’s certainly a lot to be excited about. Each level pits you against various types of enemies, and each one of them has different attacks or defense mechanisms you have to take into consideration. Hence, while the first waves can usually be brought down with pure firepower, others require a more careful approach, not to mention a few evasive maneuvers on your behalf. Thankfully, your ship can be upgraded along the way with various items and new weapons that increase your power. Bonuses can be picked up during the levels as well, even if their effects are temporary. It’s nice to know that there’s always the chance to get a short break from all the action while the power-up is active. Granted, the difficulty level can be a bit too much for some players, especially if you are really new to the genre. Everything moves very quickly, and some of the attack patterns are very difficult to avoid sometimes. Thankfully, there are all sorts of solutions that help with that, at least if you are usually open to a bit of cheating. The trainer at hand provides you with two different cheats to choose from. One of them simply gives you infinite lives, which means that you do not have to worry about dying anymore, while the other one bestows infinite bombs on your spaceship, thus making ammunition redundant.
