READ THE FULL CHANGELOG In the last few years, a new genre of games has emerged on the gaming scene, and despite the premise, it has become quite popular. We are talking of course about clicker games, where you presumably kills hordes upon hordes of monsters by just clicking them. One such clicker game is God Awe-full Clicker, and it manages to successfully blend the clicker genre with some RPG elements, all fashioned in an art style reminiscent of Greek mythology. Click, kill a monster, click some more, kill more monsters Unlike most clicker games where you are either an unseen character, or you control a party of misfits, in God Awe-full Clicker you control a gladiator that is out for blood and glory. As soon as you launch the game you are greeted by an interactive tutorial that teaches you all the features that the game has to offer as your character reaches certain level thresholds. Monsters are killed with the help of your character’s auto-attacks, the skills it uses or the clicks you perform, with left and right click having two different effects. Balance offense and survivability Given that God Awe-full Clicker gives you a body, you have to make sure it stays alive, as the countless hordes of opponents you face can deplete your health pool, and once you die, you are respawned to the last level you played. Of course, instead of being a nuisance, this just pushes you to invest in the various power-ups available so that you can create a character that can survive the onslaught. These power-ups come in the form of equipment, allocate skill points, God-given boosts fueled by countless types of currency and so forth. Play forever, or until you get bored, whichever comes first There is no storyline to God Awe-full Clicker, and all you have to do is just kill monsters, and the bosses that pop up once every five levels. One thing worth mentioning is that the number of character customizations and empowerment options available can become overwhelming at some point, especially when you’ve played so much that your health pool and damage-per-second (DPS) are in the order or trillions. Your typical grind-fest, but with some twists for the RPG fans out there While a few hours into the game you will eventually realize that you’ve pretty much-uncovered everything that the game has to offer, something about the variety of ways you can empower your character keeps you going. This makes God Awe-full Clicker a game that will surely keep you occupied for a few good hours, before monotony sets in.
