It is designed to test both your reflexes and memory, and it can challenge even the best of us at higher difficulty levels. Before anything else, it should be noted that this version of Button Frenzy is an early prototype, with an enhanced version of the game being available on Steam and itch. io. High-energy arcade game designed only for controllers Button Frenzy is only intended to work with XInput gamepads, such as the Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers. The Steam version also supports DualShock 4 gamepads if you happen to be using one of those. The gameplay is relatively straightforward, although we do recommend that you start at an easier difficulty level until you get used to it. While things may start slow, the pace increases the longer you manage to survive. Relax with some drum and base music and see just how good your memory is It is worth mentioning that the prototype version of Button Frenzy only offers one game mode – a memory trial in which you need to remember and reproduce a sequence of button presses as quickly as possible. The Steam version also includes a Frenzy mode that is more similar to the well-known Dance Revolution. If you go for the Easy or Normal difficulty modes, you shouldn’t have too much trouble, as only a few of the buttons on the controller are used. In Extreme mode, however, every single button can be added to the sequence, making the challenge all but impossible. Engaging arcade game that tests your reaction time and memory If the concept seems interesting, go ahead and download this prototype and give it a go. It is certainly fun, though the single game mode that is available might get a bit boring after a while. In any case, you can at least see if it is worth buying the enhanced version of the game, which offers an additional game mode.
