More so, if you’ve ever dreamed about being a fisherman, a marshmallow, or the ultimate cocoa chef, then Castin’ for Cocoa is the game for you. Looks cute, plays great You are an adorable ball of sweetness and sugar, aka a marshmallow, and your job is to fish up the ingredients needed to create the ultimate cup of cocoa. These ingredients come in the form of sugary fish which you have to get from the pond under you, and getting the fish themselves is a minigame in itself. Once you’ve cast a line, you then have to reel the fish in, and that is when a minigame akin to a QTE occurs, with skillful reflexes resulting in you getting the fish, and slow reflexes result in you getting better luck next time. Plenty of fish The game currently boasts 12 fish, but you never know what you’ll reel in next, so the game is partially a game of chance. The good thing is that you are limited by time in creating the cup of cocoa assigned to you. Basically, you sit around in your boat all marshmallowy and fish until you gather all of the right ingredients. Fortunately, the waiting times are close to non-existent, so games rarely ever exceed five minutes in length, making Castin’ for Cocoa great to play in between breaks. A cute solution for your gamer sweet tooth If you love marshmallows, fishing, cute things that look pink and cuddly, then Castin’ for Cocoa is a title you should take into consideration next time you are browsing for a casual game for you or your kids.
