A unique twist on the brother Grimm’s Rapunzel that come sin the form of a fantansy exploration game with horror elements Many of the fairy-tales we heard as children were often sugar-coated versions of the original stories, since most of them had much more darker sides or endings. Such would be the case with many of the stories told by the famous brothers Grimm, authors of some of the most well-known fairy-tales in the world, among which we can mention Rapunzel. The Singing Tower takes the mythos of Rapunzel and mixes in some elements from Greek mythology involving sirens, thus creating a fantasy-themed survival-horror game where you are lured into a death trap. Once upon a time You start off as a valiant knight walking through the forest, when all of a sudden you hear a stunning voice coming from a far away tower hidden in the middle of a forest. As you approach the tower, you realize that not everything is all cute and innocent, with green-flamed torches and graves scattered all around it. As you look upon the tower and climb up what appears to be a giant lock of hair, you end up realizing no one is in fact waiting for you at the top. Your only clue as to what to expect next is a note left behind by Rapunzel, apologizing for turning you into yet another victim of Madam Gothel. There was a brave knight Regardless of knowing it is a trap, you carry one exploring the forsaken tower, going through dark caverns and manipulating mechanisms only to go deeper. If you’re sensitive towards graphic depictions of blood, gore and human bodily harm, then you’d be advised to avoid this game, since there’s plenty of that later on. They didn’t all live happily ever after…. The Singing Tower is the type of game that leaves you empty inside once you finish it, but the only way you can find out how it ends is if you try to rescue Rapunzel yourself.
