An intense Sci-Fi MOBA which features all the classic mechanics and adds a few new ones to increase the challenge What’s new in Games of Glory Client 1. 05: New Clone: Booma (Skiuteran faction, Tank class) now playable Changes: READ THE FULL CHANGELOG Games of Glory is a young MOBA, that aims to introduce more challenging combat scenarios by adding over the already rock solid standard mechanics for the genre. It’s signature feature will be the removal of auto-attack, thus pleasantly forcing you to focus on hitting like never before. Say farewell to auto-attack, work for your kills! Right off the bat, if you’re transitioning from the popular MOBAs with auto-attack/cast, then know that you’re on your way to a very confusing and probably frustrating start. This however is not a deal breaker. In Games of Glory, you don’t get the ‘one click that solves everything’ approach, you know, right-click the enemy and watch your character auto-chase/attack. Nope, in this MOBA you actually have to work for each hit, and there are no guarantees that you’ll be successful. Although its sounds like a bad idea, and to some extent it might be, in the long run, this is an excellent mechanic that will set a new pace once it’s thoroughly polished. Good visuals and design that complement the gameplay In the looks department, Games of Glory has things pointing in the right way. It’s not over the top, it doesn’t copy, it’s right where it should be for a game that’s just now taking shape and growing. The characters have nice designs and feel original but the arena, as you can imagine, features several building blocks that you can find in the rest of the MOBAs as well. However , Games of Glory has its own thing going on, and it’s a good start on which to keep building. On the downside, although attack, spell animations and animations, in general, are well crafted, the graphics for range, spell path are just too much. A team fight can get confusing really fast when everyone attacks and abilities are released all over the place. Add in the aforementioned ability-guides and you’ll barely be able to make sense of what’s going on. It’s a good start for something very good Like with all fresh MOBAs, this one has a good deal of potential by its side. The character customization system is really nice, it allows you to equip and swap between ranged and melee weapons during combat. You can upgrade individual perks and shape your fighter in the direction you want him or her to go. Games of Glory has a lot of little features that work well together and make for a good game. At this time, the development team are at the beginning of the road so expect some imbalances and a confusing game pace. All in all, if you’re a MOBA fan, you should give it a try.
